Whitmore’s specialise in sawn hardwoods and clear grade softwoods from around the world. They are complimented by Smee Profiles Ltd who provide high quality machined timber including, components and veneer wrapped profiles.  They supply a comprehensive range of wood for many uses in joinery, building and restoration work, furniture making, panelling, boat building, fence and gate manufacture. Whitmore's also supply timber for coastal defence, waterways and construction work. They are an FSC, PEFC, SFI, MTCC and CSA certified supplier and take our duty of care to the environment seriously.

They stock an extensive range of construction sizes, especially in English and Continental oak, in lengths up to 50 ft suitable for Churches, Inns, and country houses. Our graders are fully trained to grade to Hardwood BS: 5756 (2007);  Softwood BS: 4978.
